Photograph was taken using compact digital camera.

• Lighting: Only daylight from window at right-hand side. Bright-white paper to left reflects light and fills in shadows. (No flash used at all; the on-camera flash made everything look flat).
• Focal length: Telephoto setting used (equivalent to 120-135mm on a 35mm camera).
• Aperture: f/11, to keep as much as possible in focus.
• ISO: 80, to minimise noise.
• Shutter speed: 1.3 seconds (very long, due to small aperture and slow ISO setting; tripod and self-timer setting was used to avoid touching camera at all during exposure).
• Post-processing: Some dust and stuff Photoshopped out. Levels adjusted such that non-shadow white background was pure white. Some minor sharpening. Scaled down, as there's still too much dust (yuck) to make it worthwhile showing at original size anyway.

The background is just a sheet of bright white inkjet paper (100g/sq.m IIRC), and the rubber keypad was held in position with Blu Tack. (^_^)
